Understanding the nature of economic crisis
Slí Eile: David Harvey provides a wider canvas in considering the various explanations for the nature of the economic crisis facing most countries. See this clip here (thanks to Conor McCabe of Dublin Opinion for drawing attention to this). Harvey's key point is that the challenge is more than just changing furniture or changing politicians or applying larger doses of regulation or fiscal stimulus. The problem is more than a temporary blip or a case of severe corruption and political ineptitude somewhere.
