Considering they've paid off the creditors, I wonder if the other banks will also offer to buy out ACC's loans to prevent liquidation. It may have been ACC's intention all along.
Another thought - The Supreme Court may have been more inclined to grant protection to Carroll's companies if the possibility of appealing to the European Court of Justice were not available.
